Building a virtual set for AE

I have a new job and the first thing I'm suppose to do is create a virtual set for a series of training videos but my weakest point is graphic design and motion graphics. The thing will be green screened and have photos and text to one side. They are looking for something more in depth than just a cool flat background and are imagining tosh.0 a little bit. Does anyone have ideas, examples or templates for this kind of thing? I'm just trying to get ideas to get started. I am working for a school so a classroom could work but I don't think that's the look they are going for. Any ideas or help?

3D models in C4D of OBJ format will work with After effects if you have 3D Elements plug-in. So you can go to Turbosquid and search for "classrooms." Here is what I got

Any model is a virtual set - here is a good tutorial how to place footage into a 3D scene

Depending on your specific needs, you may select different models that fit your client requirements. If a model is not in the format AE+E3D can digest, Turbodsquid can convert them as needed (this service is free)

I used to work on a show where we would download cool textures and built a 3D set in AE with them just by rotating one for the floor and one for the back wall. See the beginning of this episode

Outsource the set to a freelance CG artist. BTW, I just happen to be a freelance CG artist

There are probably a ton of cheap AE templates out there for this sort of thing though.

I wish i had money to outsource this lol.

I have 3 lame attempts, let me know which you like best and how to improve on them if you have the time! thanks for the help guys
