I´m going to invest som money in making my own video village with the intention of hiring it out with myself. Have been doing some video.assist operator jobs for a couple of years now, and i really enjoy to be working close up with directors, getting to learn alot and maybe having a tiny (if any) bit of influense of the outcome.
So I am looking for a good video.village setup, not as big as might be required on a LotR set, but for normal size features and commercials in Scandinavia.
Been doing som daily searching on the web, and there is almost scary how little i´m able to find about it..
Been working with a ScorpoCombo a few times, and i find it to be a nice worktool, rather than the old, Raptor ive been using the most. But having problems getting any real information about it, all the pages i find are in spanish, and/or in french..
So what is the best way to achive a full quick working video.village in 2009 (coming up n 2010).
Ive got the macbook pro, and did find that there are some softwares out there, with some hardware that could work..
The thing I am looking the most for is the recorder/playback device itself.
Printer, monitors, trolley, etc wont be a problem..
Anyone got some experience to share?
