Building a silencer

Im trying to build a detachable silencer to fit onto a airsoft gun. Has anyone seen this done before? Or a website out there, or have any suggestions, ive started to dabble around with PVC pipe, but i dont know how i would connect it and disconnect it and still have the gun look clean at the end. If anyone could help id be very greatfull. On a side note do muzzle flashes have to be done in green screen, i've been using a shot gun with blanks in it for my last two films that required a gun. Or can you use detonation films free muzzle blasts and still edit them in using AE?

muzzle flashes can easily be done with out a green screen, you just need some type of editing software (apparently you have AE) and some pre-made muzzle flashes!

If you aren't worried about being flagged by the FBI, I believe the Anarchist's Cookbook might have a DIY silencer.

thanks for the feedback on the silencers i could use some more, The airsoft site i bookmarked if i wanna go out and by everything but i have two nice paint up airsofts. So i need to get paid here again and work on a electic/air blood squib system before i go buyiing some package and i didnt even think about the cook book thanks.

Hmm I have some cheesy FN-P90s that have screw on and off silencers.
A homemade one would probably look pretty well.. homemade, the ones you might buy will probably need some painting so they have some depth and don't look so plastic.

I can check the thread size on the screw in part for you, but it may differ from model and manufacturer.
