Building a rig for movie editing, suggestions needed

hello all, I am building a new pc to edit in cs5 64 and i am looking into getting the best cpu out there. So far i have chosen the intel i7 2600k sandy bridge. Does anyone here have this cpu or have a better recommendation?
 
Right now it's a top choice. There are better models coming out, but not for a few months yet. If you need something before this fall, the 2600K will serve you well.
 
I belive the new models will be out of my price range but do you think there will be a price drop on the 2600k once these models are out?
