Bug ?

Randomly FCPX will not let me play any media on the timeline, i can play the clips in the browser but as soon as i reclick on the time line and hit play (spacebar) the last clip I clicked on in the browser plays..anybody got this
And yes i have restarted the machine and app, trashed FCPX pref and created new accounts which sometime works

where do you reclick on the timeline, maybe the keyboard will only focus if you clicked in a specific spot or clicked a button or highlighted something. that's normal for any application with more that one window/area.

thanks for the reply..I have been clicking everywhere on the timeline... the application will work normally and I am happliy editing away ..then it goes into this strange buggy mode, my latest fix was to reset the application layout andall came good..so far..

I know there's a glitch that happens if you apply stabilization or rolling shutter correction - the playhead will be stuck on the stabilized clip in your media browser and you won't be able to play anything else until you select another clip there and go back to your timeline.
