budgeting software

[dimensionx]

I will be going into doing some small film projects and am looking for just a nice affordable budgeting software to keep track of stuff

when I look around I see "Gorilla Film Production Software"
and started trying out that demo

googling this topic I also see program called "Cinetools" with links to www.movie-producer.net

my question is what happened to this movie-producer.net it seems to have gone into non-existance in 2004 oct-nov time

obviously something bought out this site or something .. and cinetools looked like a very good tool and low priced by what I was reading

thats my question and feel free to mention any of your ways of tracking budget and manageing time and stuff.
because obviously you don't need anything that special to do it just I would think must be nice to have a program with it all

I have used Gorilla for the last 2 years and really like it. It svery simple to use, you can import your screenplay into it, great management tabs too.

There is also Axium that has a 30 day free trial you can download. I use Entertainment Partners Scheduling and Budgeting which is the later versions of Movie Magic since they bought then several years ago.

Filmmakersoftware.com also carries budgeting software. It is in Excel format but creates reports not only for budgeting, but for Call Sheets, Scene Summaries, and many other things for only $15. Can't beat that.
