Our Budget: 3312$

Please help us divide this!

Editing guy (will capture, edit, pospost and dvd it)
Cameraman (will shoot and do lights)
Soundman (will record sound)

Out of this whole quantity, how much should each of these three people get!

This is a small project and we are beginners!

What do you think is fair?

This is for a 30second add for a small local tv.

Thank you

I really need an answer for tomorrow!

Is 1000$ ok? too much ... to little?

You're a semi-pro editor. Have been doing the job for a year
You have a 30sec comercial for a local TV. The total budget is 3000$
it will take you two 8/10 hour working days to complete the job
What is your price?
800$
1000$
500$
What is fair???
Why is it so hard to answer???? There are tons of semipros, pros and beginners here!!!!
Please give me a straight answer!!!!
thanxs!

Depends on the complexity of the edit. Is it just cutting together footage or is there effects, color correction, motion graphics, etc involved?

I say pick a price that fits in your budget and go from there. You will find someone who will want some cash for the price you are paying. Everything, in my opinion, is negotiable.

The editor will capture, cut, cc, etc, do everything.
its a 2 day job. what would you pay him?
this is for a local tv 30sec comercial
We have 3000$
how much should he get?
The cameraman will shoot. 2 day works
using DVX100B
How much should he get?

i charge and pay 450 an edting day. I charge 65/hour to shoot, but pay only 50. I Charge 50 and hour for sound and pay only 40.

I would say the editor should get 900 for editing plus 100 for dvd

Shooter should get 400-500

sound guy should get 250-300
