Pre Pre production on a feature film that we will shoot late next june...
We want to try and put a cap of $50,000 on the whole film from pre to marketing. It is a 1.5 hour thriller. The story in its self is fairly cheap 4 main actors mostly SAG 2 of them are friends of the producer and I so they may wave the SAG rates or do minimal rates. The other two actors are C list and B list. The B list actor is a relative of the executive producer so we are looking at micro budget SAG rates. For the crew we are friends with mostly everybody on the crew so we can get them for cheap but fare. For pre production it shouldn't cost anything more then coffee for auditions. So what is a safety cushioned ratio of expenses?
