All he had to do was 'act naturally'.

roy clark too

Dang......see, I didn't say to myself "I think I'll cruise on over to DVXU and poo poo on some country musicians" but I lost almost all respect for Roy when he started hawkin those crappy "signature" series guitars that are some of the biggest pieces of crap I've ever seen and that he most certainly does not use himself (and would not.....hell, they are REALLY crappy guitars). He was already on thin ice from years of advertising Hunts Ketchup as "The Flavor Of The South" when I never saw anything but Heinz in ANY self respecting southern home. I did love em both on Hee Haw though when I was a kid and had not yet learned of their evil ways.

yeah i heard some really bad stories on clark but i can't judge that on hear say and who am i to judge, but that man could play anything! you give him something he never played and he would play it in minutes

I saw it on the news last night. One of the stalwarts of the "Bakersfield sound". Too bad. RIP :(

My parents watched Hee HAw religiously, and so we kids caught it also.
I never heard any of the bad stories, and I'm not sure I want to. He was a master song writer- whether or not you like country music.

Everyone raise a glass to good ol' Buck...
