If you remember the Robert Redford movie 'The Horse Whisperer' then you'll have a vague idea about the movie when I say that 'Buck' is a documentary about the guy that is the real horse whisperer.

That wouldn't tell you the whole story though. When I heard the word documentary I expected a dry history of some sort. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
The thing is that this guy has never led a usual life. It will make you laugh, make you cringe, and make you cry. Its that rarest of all things, a documentary that makes you FEEL.
At the same time you'll actually understand why he acts the way he does. The pity is that despite being a fabulous film it has no explosions, shootings or car chases to appeal to teenagers so its only playing in a few theaters and the trailer doesn't do it justice.

Well worth the drive of finding one of those theaters and seeing it.
