"Broken" The short!

Well I'll start, I received mine in the mail today. It was worth the wait the bonus features were worth the price by itself. The movie was good it kept me guessing. My only critiques are. The acting could of been stronger especially the female lead character. The stunts could of used the help of real stuntmen, there reaction seemed off from being hit buy the guns that look so powerfull. Everything else on this $8000.00 budget short looked fantastic. This should serve as inspiration to anyone who sees this.
Cogrates to Alex and Jorge!

I saw a screener of it awhile back, and overall I was very impressed. My only critique would be that they could probably shave a few minutes off of it and make the story tighter.

Of course, that's my critique of most shorts. :)

I'm very interested to watch some of the DVD features, so maybe I'll order a copy.

I was hoping somebody got the DVD and would post about it by now... I'll order mine today to support these guys even though I expect it may be a little less in a couple months.

I expected the entire short to have trouble living up to it's trailer... I bought the Art History DVD and I thought the trailer sold it really well also. I doubt I could make something of that quality (yet) and so it's a good benchmark to judge my own abilities by...

It's cool to see what somebody can put together compared to the rest of us... even though we have a lot of the same equipment. The allure is in thinking, "I could have done that"... even if you really couldn't.

Okay, I'll bite - where can I see the trailer and perhaps order a copy? I'm not familiar with this title, but it sounds interesting.

I got the DVD to support those guys as well:) Looked great; though I do agree the acting could've been better. the "EXTRAS" were to me more of an "APPLE" software commercial.
No reference to Premiere, AVID, Vegas. I think if you are trying to talk to independent filmmakers, Talk about ALL the possible ways to go about making your movie!

BTW; I have used all: AVID/Premiere Pro 1.5/Sony Vegas /FCP
Hell; If I could make a film on an old Atari ST computer, like some musicians still make music with...I would!:)lol
