As you can see by the photos below, I have a Philips Plasma (Philips 42PF9630A/37) That has a couple of problems. Not sure wether I should scrap for parts, sell it as it is, get it repiared or even repair it myself.
From what I've been reading online the strange lines and color noise is from a bad Upper and Lower buffer board. I think there is more going on than just that though. The black splotch looks like an LCD leak almost but externally the screen is in good condition and this is a plasma television so not sure if they normally experience "leaks". Any ideas or suggestions would be apprecaited.
