Broken DVX100...should I repair, or sell as is?

Well I have 3 weeks to finish my short before Sundance deadline, and wouldn't you know, my DVX falls over and seperates the drum, giving the ""AUTO OFF CYLINDER LOCK"" error...

I take it to a place that claims the replacement is 415$, and labor is 3 hours at 85$ per hour...

Now I have a friend who has a DVX100a, who might let me borrow his...

Should I spend over $700 to repair my DVX, or just sell it as is and warn people about the needed repair, while using my friend's DVX to finish my short?

thanks, in a hurry, must go, please reply SOON!!!

I'd get the repair done. If all you're concerned about is your current project, then maybe it's not worth it, but for me it would be worth it.
