We're just starting a television show on the Sportsman Channel. We've had 3 episodes to air so far, and we're having trouble with the levels. Can anybody help??
We're shooting with a Panasonic HVX200 and editing in Vegas 8 Pro. The main things we need to know is:
1. Are there settings on the camera that will make broadcast colors and levels ideal?
2. What settings for LEVELS and BROADCAST COLORS in Vegas should be used to get the optimum color, brightness, and contrast?
The footage looks fantastic on our timeline, but as you know, once it goes to television broadcast, all bets are off with getting the same look unless we can get the right levels/broadcast colors settings down.
