This might be a broad question but give me your best answer!

So I am on post production and u am trying to give the film I am adding, for lack of better words, the pizaz LOL that will help the audience connect to it.

Now I know that's quite a broad question, but I guess give me the best answer you got, maybe something you have done to you film to give it that extra umpfh.

Thanks fir the help.

Anything that moves the story along in a new and interesting way is good stuff. Anything that is boring, cliche or repetitive should be deleted.

try magic bullet- looks. It's a product of red giant and it has a lot of preset looks. They will need a little tweaking but it is great to check out a bunch of different looks.

ha, i was JUST gonna say magic bullet looks but you beat me to it. i just got it today and it's AWESOME.

So much depends on your audience, and the type of film you are making. Pacing is important. Music is important. Color correction can effect the mood and look. If it's supposed to be exciting, does the editing reflect it. Are there lots of cuts or do you stay on shots way too long? Is the music appropriate, does your film need graphics, stills, narration. Also look at the story you are telling. Maybe you can tell it a different way, tease the end in the beginning etc.

The thing that can give something the most pizzaz is a personal story- this isn't post production though. People connect with people who have experiences, not people who know facts, or people who know people.
In post, simply letterboxing a 4:3 video can do wonders. I would go along with the others that subtle color correction is really helpful as well.
And always remember that (depending on the type of project,) post is often more about making the video less obvious and distracting so that the subject of the video can really be communicated.
