Morning all,

I have just made it through to the first round of this years BSSC, with "Waiting for Dawn" another 5 or so rounds to go for the final, has any one else entered this year?

Yep. I entered 3 (Fading Numbers, Choices and Pupil.Teacher.Patient.Love) - all in first round.

Congrats to you.

Any idea when next round is announced?
 
Well done mate, I will keep my eye out for them, as for the next rounds as far as I know, if it is the same as last year about every 3 or 4 weeks.

I got into the final round and finished as a runner up with A Soldiers Tale, it was a first attempt at a short so I was chuffed to bits, hopefully see if I can take that extra step and make it as a first runner up or winner, but its a big ask, I will take each round as it comes, just making the next round is a massive buzz, we shall see.

Just looked at your resume, I'm in awe, a few years behind you I think, maybe even a decade or two, if I ever get one produced for a £1 fee I would be chuffed to bits.

Yo Sean - I just spent ages on your website. Woah you have really produced alot of material. I think we all might be a few years behind you. Would it be possible to be able to read Utopia-1? I'm really intrigued by the concept and would love give the screenplay a read.

Just work my ass off. Hopefully some day it pays off.

Sure you can read utopia-1. Been trying to get it made into a comic before a movie, with some luck it will pay off.
