Love the versatility something like that offers, I REALLY don't like the multi-source shadows you get from that style of fixture though - if you could somehow pump it through a fresnel lens to unify the LEDs into a single hard source, I think that'd start to make things really interesting (though of course you cop a lot of lightloss that way).

Yes agreed regarding the multi-source. You'd definitely want to use this through some skin , etc..
I don't have info on pricing yet, but I wonder how it compares to the price of a 575w HMI (which has far less foot-candle output unless you consider a 7 degree beam angle).
The RGB versions are kind of neat for cop lights, and possibly other effects.

I tested a version of this on a Telenovela I was dping. Amazing unit. Unfortunately show fizzled before we could put into rotation.
