Britek lights question

I see a lot of people have bought these, I have two questions came to me reading a previous thread.
1) bulbs - are the bulbs for these easy to find?

2) The house looks like it's made out of plastic. I am guessing the plastic does not get that hot, though halogen lamps generate a lotta heat, how is the heat dispersed?

The housing is actually made of some material that dissipates heat incredibly well. You can turn the light off and immediately hold the housing in your hand and not melt your flesh off! The front portion of the light still gets hot, but the main body doesn't.
