Anyone know where to get fuses for britek lights? I had one blow on me when the bulb on my g-300 went out. Now I can't seem to find a replacement for it! Anyone know where an acceptable fuse can purchased at? I believe its a 5mm x 20mm 10 amp 250v fuse. Thanks for any help.

GMA 10 from a hardware store or electronics supply store.

The only Britek fuse that's not readily available is for the 2K - if you have one of those order a bunch from Britek directly. As far as I know all the smaller instruments take standard GMA fuses.

Yeah, to add to Raytracer, I've always used fuses from the hardware or standard lighting store, and my lights haven't blown up yet. :)

the fuse blows more than the bulbs on my britek light. i finally had a revelation that none of my other lights have fuses so why does the britek? so i did the old aluminum foil trick on a burnt fuse and now it will never blow again....

you bypass the safety of the fuse and wrap the fuse in aluminum foil - current moves like it should but in the case of an overload, you're still running power. Worked great in an old MacGyver episode though so it must be safe ;)

Fuses... on continuous light fixtures? Ishn't dat veird?
