Hello. Working in FCP 6.01. Project involves footage shot in the following:
dvcpro hd 1080/24p
dvcpro hd 720/24p
xdcam ex 1080/24p
All footage will be put in the same timeline. Problem is that the Quicktime movie files
from shot on the Sony EX1, when I try to play them in QT Pro (or QT 10) all I can hear
is the audio, and the movie is all black. When I try to bring them into FCP I get the same.
I know all the footage is contained w/in each movie because I saw them on someone else's
computer when they were logging and transferring them from the SxS cards.
Am I missing a plugin? Should everything be transcoded into PRoRes so it plays nice w/ each other?
(I did try that with a few of the XDCam clips but still didn't get video, just audio.)
Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Apologies if this has been covered in depth before.
