Hi to all,
which are the differences between the two models? I would like to buy an used new one, and the price are very different. I'm talking about an adapter without flip module.

Thanks

Mp2 gives you better light transmission and other optical benefits. It's simply an updated MP1

Where have you seen that information?

Since both the MP1 and MP2 use the same achromat and imaging elements, there is no difference between the two as far as light transmission or other "optical benefits".

The differences actually deal with the electronics. There is an upgraded firmware in the MP2 and also a fuse to help protect the unit when charging.

I belive that that I've seen it on the cinevate forum a time ago when I was planning on buying a brevis myself (until I decided to go with a Sgblade that is better than the brevis IMO).

But you're probably right on this one

Look at other options. I have owned mp1 and mp2 as well as beta tested "mp3". Vibrating motors are not reliable, the edge to edge sharpness on Sony EX1 is not good, and customer is very, very slow, perhaps non-existent. I have used the Brevis for over 2 years using many on-location and post production tricks to get around issues...constant fiddling around and adjusting. Look at Letus.
