Brevis flipped versus non flipped edge sharpness?

I am running into the issue of edge sharpness on my brevis. And someone recommended a spacer. Yet I spoke to someone else who told me with the flip you can get much better edge to edge sharpness then a simple spacer. I just want to know if it is very noticeble? Because I rather not spend 700 dollars when i dont have to.

thanks

I did not test this particular module (check the site for grabs) but I did experiment with one I made and it does help with the overall sharpness on the screen. The flip module will introduce a larger (than a spacer) distance, minimizing the difference between corners/center to camera rendering the whole screen in sharper focus. my 2c (although the actual price is higher)

No question that the flip version has better edge to edge and less CA than the non-flip. The single largest reason is that the the flip achromat has been carefully optimized with regard to spherical and chromatic aberration, specific to our adapter...and takes advantage of the optical situation inherent. Contrast is also improved..and part of the design parameters. This is something no reviewer yet has attempted to quantify. The design challenges are similar with the SGpro and M2, and those users are finding our flip excellent there too.
