brevis flip and sgpro

Hello people! I'm a little outdated on things right now:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)..could you please tell me when is the Brevis flip module is going to be out and if it can be mounted on an SGpro adapter (so i've heard).
I'm thinking of buying the new Sony EX1 Xdcam, do you have any ideas on adapting issues, instalation problems and the like (the adapter will be an SGpro)!

Hi,

Just to let you know, we are hoping to release a flip module for the SGpro in less than a month. We were kind of keeping our hat on this for the time being until it's release :)

Our flip should work just fine on the M2 and SG. We've obviously done extensive testing on our own system but we're not seeing any issues with third party applications. In fact, we've designed in a few features to make these applications easier to install to. The optics of our flip unit are professionaly engineered, and will likely improve the performance of any adapter out there with respect to chromatic and spherical aberration. Current Brevis users can attest to the quality of our existing optics...these are better yet :-)

Obviously very interested in the flip as it will make my Brevis even sharper. What is the schedule for it now?

is it making it sharper because youre nolonger using the achromat? that must be one helluva prism.
 
This is great...all manufacturers making the flips :thumbsup: .

And., any problems with mounting the sgpro to an EX as this is a new camera and all... thanks
 
Phil, if all goes well, by month's end. T, the optics system for the flip is professionally designed with no compromises. After nearly a year in development, we won't have any excuses for anything less than exceptional.
