Brevis 35 Question(s)

I have narrowed my 35 MM adapter to the Brevis based on look, ease of set up, price and weight, and have just a couple of questions before I make the leap.

1. Do you have to have rails with the Brevis (nikon mount) and the CINEFUSE 3 Diffuser for Tripod and Hand Held work?

2. Is the Follow Focus Gears by Cinevate adequate, or would you use another brand?

You definitely don't need rails for hand held run and gun stuff. I never use rails unless I use a big zoom lens. I plan on getting the follow focus gears from Dennis also because from what I see with the M2 gears, they are the same.
