Brevis 35 Malfunction

If this were a GG problem, the countrours would start vibrating in a vibrating adaptor or would disappear altogether in a rotating adaptor. This does not look like a GG problem but like a glass/mirror problem. Clean the prisms and check the lens. It appears some liquid got onto a piece of glass.

I didn't turn the adapter on in the first half of the video so you could see the issue... Its on toward the end.

Is that a CFX element? If so, it looks like you've washed it in water....which we advise that you never do. If you have, remove it, wrap in a lens cloth and place in a zip lock bag with silica gel to dry it out. The problem though is that you may see precipitate left behind if you did not use distilled water to clean.

You can also clean it again in distilled water, air dry as best you can with compressed air and do the silica gel trick. Let me know how you make out.

Cheers,
Dennis.
