Sitting watching Brazil. Just found it at a pawn shop for 1$, what a steal! I guess no one has a VHS player any more, o well... Any other Gilliam fans out there?

I love Brazil and relate very closely to the Sam Lowery character. I think that Gilliam gives us one of the best dystopias ever shown on film (I know, I know, "...Best dystopia" is a ****ed up concept, but I'm sticking to it.) Considering current events, the film is also very relavant today, more so than when it was released, which almost did not happen.

It is definitly one of my favorite movies... glad that you enjoyed it....

Big Gilliam fan...12 monkeys turned out great, Brazil was unforgetable, and I fell for Lost in LaMancha...(has anyone seen that?) I thought it was great...The Adventures of Baron Munchausen was also a favorite...noone i know remembers that...

yeah, "Lost in LaMancha" was very good, kinda scary though.

Let's give it up for Gilliam's, "Fisher King", what a great love story...

I remember that; it's one of my favorite movies. I was one of the few people who saw it in the theater.

I actually enjoyed Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas. For the first 20 minutes I was appalled, then it started to grow on me. Then I found myself laughing out loud. It's a bizarre film that's certainly not for everyone.

Old Monty Python fan here. I've seen most of Gilliam's stuff. He's really an underrated director. He doesn't get the media hype of Tim Burton, but his work is incredibly imaginative.

Oh yeah, he's awesome! I have the Brazil DVD set. Well worth the money. both versions plus tons of additional material.

Imagine how crazy Gilliam's mind must be to visualize all of the stuff he does. Then think about the stuff that never sees the light of day.
