Boxx computers

I bought a boxx system where I used to work. They are PCs..nothing more nothing less..you could build the exact same computer for a whole lot less. Here is the thing about Boxx though..if you have any problems or need a new part, you'll have it in 24 hours straight from Texas. That's not bad considering I'm from Canada. If you can put a computer together yourself or have a friend that can do it, go that route. Good luck.

Yeah; I just configured the system it cost me about $1500 to build, and then add in Vegas+DVD at retail to bring it to $2000, and the BOXX total was $4667.

Just to illustrate Davids point I configured a workstation at both BOXX and Alienware and then went to NewEgg.com and checked the prices there...results are below

I used to work at Curious Pictures NYC and they use a lot of BOXX computers.

Everyone is right about them being just another PC computer but when you are buying 12 of them, the tech support they offer is what you are paying for. They do a lot of the leg work making sure that everything will work, and work when it counts.

Also they have a lot of promotional deals for software like Maya, XSI, etc. which counts a lot when you actually pay for each individual license.

IMHO. :engel017:
