Don't know, but judging from past experience, anything Moore did does not qualify as a subject for discussion on this forum. Stay away from the curse!
 
political crap aside.

I would wager he used DigiBeta... or something similar for his pre-planned interviews. For the other stuff in his movie, it is clearly DV, low quality stock footage.

nothing particularly special about his technology choices..

He must have used HD - the budget was 10 million, where else did the money go.
