Hi there,
So today I ordered me a Oktava MK012 movie set + shockmount from germany. (can't find it in South Africa).
And then from the USA, B & H Photo and video:
1. Gitzo GIGB1540 GB0540 - Three-Section Carbon Fiber Boompole, $179.95
2. Rycote RYSPGK12M 12cm Medium Hole Softie, $229.00
3. Audio-Technica AUAT4073A AT4073A - Shotgun Microphone $549.95
with shipping it's US$1074.40 plus about another US$200 for import duties, etc..
that's US$1275 for the B & H stuff
Here in South Africa the AT4073a on it's own, just the mic alone is US$2069.33. (used gocurrency.com).
can you believe that!!!
Anyway I think with this added to my kit, its getting to become a decent audio toolkit.
