Never even heard of Borat until a few weeks ago and now I can't get enough. The movie recently screened and people said they couldn't breathe they were laughing so hard.

The Movie Trailer

If you don't know (I didn't either) Borat is a character from the Ali G show. Sasha Boren Cohen plays Borat, a reporter from Kazakhstan who must document American life. He and his crew are the only ones in on the joke. Everyone else are real people reacting to this very odd man.

Check out some of the short videos on YouTube.

a friend of mine told me about borat a couple of years ago and showed me some clips online and i couldn't stop laughing. i loved the dating service skit. funny stuff... definitely checking out the movie

haha yeah i'm glad this movie is coming out. the only reason i watched the ali g show is cause of the borat segments.

then when the ali g movie came out i expected a lot of borat but there was only 1 scene with him, the rest of that movie was horrible. but i bet this one will be funny.

This sounds interesting. However, I always felt Borat and the whole Ali G show was inferior to the BBC series "Goodness Gracious Me", which portraied Middle Eastern and Asian characters with a lot more finesse and sharp humour...

Just yeserday, someone at work mentioned this movie to me....I thought it was a laundry additive. Never seen Ali G.

A Time Magazine reporter said that Cohen should win the Oscar for best actor. (Seriously).

Then again, this is the guy who gave Chicken Little his highest rating.
