Boosting audio monitor for Sony Z1

I wonder what everybody is using to have good levels on the Z1 for monitoring audio with headphones.

Mine are Sony MDR-V600, 45 ohm impedance, and levels are quite low with the Z1.

I am using a Boostaroo booster, but even with that levels are not quite as they should be for location monitoring.

Some comments on what you're using will be very useful. Thanks.

With a much higher cost and much bigger/heavier box!

What I was really asking was if there was a much more sensitive phone that I could try, or a similar box to the Boostaroo that I really don't know about.

I have found an interesting line of headphone preamps by FiiO:

The e5 looks particularly good for attaching to the Z1 or any portable camera.

There's also the CMOY line of headphones preamps, mostly available on eBay, which use just one or two 9v batteries, and will probably output good monitoring levels on the headphones I have, Sony or Sennheiser.

Well, I took my own advice and bought a Fiio e5 headphone amp. The price is very good, it looks very practical and it does seem an improvement over my Boostaroo. It will take about 7 weeks to get here, but when it does I will try telling you my impressions.
