Boom Stand Reccomendations

I'm going to need to drop my NTG-3 in on some shoots off of a stand, but all the (affordable) stands I've found thus far have a very short reach. Any suggestions on a sub $125 way to get it in there?

i currently use this model a lot, very heavy duty overall, i'm quite happy with it.

Since the boom arm can be set to be very long i always use a couple of sandbags on the stand to make sure eveything it's rock solid.
