Boom pole shock mount

I have a couple of the A-T shock mounts with the Ktek bands in them. I like them well enough, but they seem most suited to mounting on a stand. In any event, I want to buy another shock mount to dedicate to a boom. It would be nice if it would hold a shotgun or small condenser. The kssm seems popular and I like the company so that is on my short list. Are there others you prefer?

I have a KZep and BBG for outdoor-breezy conditions, so wind protection is not in this equation.

Expanding on the KTek K mounting products, will the KSSM which is the short version of the K mount line, carry a medium shotgun? Their website says the mounts are 2" apart.

I don't know how much longer the KSM version is. Would the KSM work OK with a short hyper and a BBG? Seems like KTek might offer up that info on their website, but I couldn't find it.

The Rycote patented "Lyre" suspension is technically the best there is and a lot cheaper than normal suspensions.

This is used in the S-series and this will hold any mic. with a diameter between 19mm and 25mm from a normal SDC up to quite long gun mics (it will hold mics like the MKH 416, 418-S and MKH 60 and MKH 70).

I have changed all my suspensions over to "Lyres" even ditching expensive manufacturer suspensions, just because they are so much better.
