ok so heres the deal. i am a film student, and we have talked about boom operation in different classes, but always in a general sense. but i recently got a job as a boom operator for a feature (because of who i knew not what i knew). i know my dept. head will make sure i know what i am doing, but i dont want to go on set completely blind.
so this leads to my question.....are there any boom tutorials or crash courses online? or are there any tips that anyone on this board can share from experience?
