Books or Mags on field recording

Hello, i'm Brand new to this board and genre of art. I'm looking for help.I just purchased a Sound devices 702T field recorder.Basically to record high quality sound effects to be coupled with music. Thing is, i'm way over my head and have a very vauge idea as to the true potental to which I pursued the product. Are there any e-books, regular books, or magazines that could steer my towards tips and tricks to get this going? Thank you in adavance.
