Books on audio mixing?

I'm a budding film director and my girlfriend is a music composer who writes music for my films. Although she has extensive experience composing music, she has little experience actually laying down tracks on a digital audio workstation (DAW). We now have everything we need to do professional level recording (24 track digital mixer, professional microphones, computer-based recording software, etc.) except for the know-how.

Does anyone know of any books that would help us learn basic music mix methodology? We are not complete idiots concerning music recording, and we do know all the basic concepts and have actually succeeded in making several recordings that have turned out to be OK. What we would like to learn our recommended ways of laying down the tracks and then remixing them into the final stereo mix.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated!!
