Books-FCP 5/Final Cut Studio

Hello everyone,

I am in the process of learning Final Cut Pro 5 and Final Cut Studio. I was wondering if you can recommend good books to learn.

Your advice is very much appreciated.

As an Apple cert'ed trainer, and as a very long time editor and author, I STRONGLY recommend the Apple Pro Training Series. They've expanded FCP version 5 to a total of 6 books. I'd start with FCP5 and Optimizing your FCP5 System. Go to the Color Correction book later for sure, you'll learn tons.

Don't let the thickness of the books fool you, the lessons go quick. Do one lesson a night and you'll get through it in a week or so and be a master.
 
I agree with BenB The Apple Pro books are gold. I have been editing on FCP for 4 years know and right now I am reading Optimizing your FCP5 system. And I am learnning alot of stuff I didn't even know. It is making my workflow alot faster
