Loved the video but could someone explain to me the advantage of picking these lenses compared to other options? Sorry havent kept up to date with the Digital Bolex as to many cameras came out and this one never really seemed worth it to me but I still like to know what I can about it if for some reason i get stuck shooting on it haha.

In theory, the advantage of these lens is that the simplification of the lens design - a fixed aperture of f-4 - means that you can afford better quality glass for the money. If you're shooting in a controlled lighting environment or are willing to use a variable ND for outdoor scenes, the tradeoff may be worth it. We'll see if this proves to be true. They haven't shipped yet.
