Thanks to this forum I have settled on going with a Bogen tripod with my eyes wide open as far as Cartoni being superior. (The price diff as well as an in family discount on Bogen has carried the day.) The minimum head I realize size wise is the 516. My question is as to the legs. I have looked at a bunch, what is the minimum Bogen set you would go with, (3182?)? and what are the advantages to moving up, and is it worth it from a price point perspective?

still no one. This must be the worst question in the history of the site. I guess I'll go with the 3182, they seem nice and I am going blind from comparing the legs on the B&H site. LOL.
 
Thanks Learning. It was your post awhile back that helped me get the info to figure this out. How do you like the whole unit?
