Bogen Stacker Light Stands

Hey all-
I need some stands for a light-weight interview lighting setup. I have heard that Bogen Stacker Stands are good for the highly mobile type. I live in San Francisco, and the stands can't be found in stores here. I am a little nervous about ordering 3 stands over the web without actually putting my hands on one first. Can anyone recommend these stands, or sagest a better alternative?

I am usually a one or two man crew, and my grip truck looks a lot like a Honda Accord. I will be doing most of the indoor interviews in small offices, so floor space is a premium, but I don't want to sacrifice weight or stability(c stands too heavy).
My usual setup:
Key- Lowel DP(1K) with Chimera Video Pro Softbox
Fill- Lowel omni (500) with foamcore bounce
Backlight- Mini Mole (200)
or
sunlight off a collapsible reflector on a photoflex reflector holder on a stand.

Thanks.

I have one of those stands. decent build and should support your lights no problem. folds up nice and flat. i have only worked with arri stands before i bought one of these and this seems much more heavy duty IMO.

I bought a 3-pack of the black 8' stackers... I love them. I also have the 3398b boom stands (2) and I love those. Neither stand is going to be like a C-stand... so don't confuse that part... but they both work great for normal sized lights that DV shooters use.

I'll probably buy more of the 8' stackers... I gave one away and another one is nearly used up from years of really hard use, but they're great... for the price all the manfrotto stands are crazy good.

The arri stands included in the kits are sometimes repackaged manfrottos... at least that's how they look side by side... and the manfrottos are much cheaper.

I have a few of these myself that I picked up to use with my Arri Fresnels. All in all they're great stands. Especially for me having come from the light weight Lowel kit stands (those were drek through and through.) I've even attatched a 40" gobo arm to one of the bogen stands and with a sandbag in between the leg spreaders the thing worked like a champ. I wouldn't normally use them like that since I have 2 C-stands also and they're actually made for that, but nice to know that in a pinch if I need to travel light I can just grab the gobo arms and use them with the stands already in my light kit case. Hope it helps.
Peace,

-Harry

I just ordered some and they are at my house right now. ( Just delivered today )
- The reason I ordered them is because of MattinSTL and Walter Graff used these or some very similar in his kit

Sounds good, thanks for your replies.
I guess SF is a Mathew's town, so I will have to order online.
Anyone know why the 7' 3320 is more expensive then the 8' 3321 version?
They are the same design right?
