Does anyone have any experience with this monopod? We have a Bogen/Manfrotto monopod with fold out legs of an earlier design, but the legs rattle when not in use, rendering the monopod useless on any shots requiring audio recording... Just wondering if this newer model has this same problem.

I am using the 560B. I think its comparable , but the 561/2B is more robust an uses the fluidhead 701.
I am very happy with the 560B. It fits very good together with HVX200. The fold-out elements at the bottom are (I guess) the same as at the 561. They enables you to make very soft pannings and movements. And if you adjust it right, without any noises are rattles
