Haha, right on. Thanks for the link, those legs look really good for what i'm going for too. Hmmmm.... decisions. decisions. decisions. Now all i need is some running shoes. Thanks again Pooh ;)

The great thing about the 755b legs that pooh pointed out is that you can take out the center shaft and put in back in horizontally.  Gret for down angle shots and kooky stuff like that.

Thanks HorseFilms, i think my main questions are on the sticks. Any suggestions or comments? Looking for light, versatile & quick setup sticks.

I've never used the 3221 legs. I would call Rush at EVS to get his input. Unless you have a local shop to check them out at.

Re: Bogen 3221/503, any good?

I have the 3221 legs with a 501 head. I like the 3221's versatility in tight spaces. For shooting in crowded theater house settings, where they don't want you to take up any seats or where people might have to be walking around you a bit. I find these sticks easy to breakdown and set-up but are still very solid feeling. I would love to have the 503 head instead of the 501 though. I will be selling the 501 and getting the 503 as the replacement on the 3221 until I can afford the 3190 legs or something heftier than 3221 BUT still keep the 3221 above mentioned situations or as a spare stick.

I have the 3221/503 combination. Very happy with it. Solid but easy to move around. Head is nice and smooth, well suited for a DVX. (Only regret is that I need another QR assembly to accommodate a DVRig Pro, but that's not Bogen's fault.)
