Hi DVX users ! I m pleased to share with you a manipulation that give a lot more autonomy to BMPCC for 15 bucks.
This manipulation also allow to deport the batterie pack to anywhere on a rig or on a gimbal system.
It give a good ratio energy/weight ( 7.4 Volts, 2 elements )
- The BMPCC still charge the batterie pack ( the charge is controlled by voltage survey and it don t care about the mAh )
- Just disassemble BMPCC original batterie ( 800 mAh ) and rewire it on an external batterie pack.
- Mine works with 2 Li-ion 1000 mAh element ( 6€ each ) i use it for aerial. I got one other with 2 Li-ion 2500 mAh element ( 5 hours of use, maybe 6 in timelapse...)
*** Remove the batterie shape from the camera everytime you switch element pack ***
( if you did not bmpcc won t reconize it and you will have to plug the sector adapter to switch it ON back again. )
