BMCUser activation?

Hi there,

Not sure if there's much crossover between the two forums nor whether there's much sense in posting here, but how long does activating a user account generally take over on the BMCUser forum? I signed up about a fortnight ago and am still waiting on activation in order to post. I guess there's a bit of buzz in the BMD world at the moment so perhaps they're facing a deluge of us converts.

I've been waiting for about 8 months to get activated, admins don't check their inboxes as I've sent a bunch of messages.

I think I only had to wait 3 days. But that was back when the Ursa Mini 4K came out a few years ago

Cool, not just me then. Maybe it's like a trendy nightclub and they're at capacity. Anyhooo I've found most of my answers on the Pocket 4k Facebook group.

Still waiting for activation. Not sure what's going on there but they sure don't seem to like new people.

It definitely seems like the least regulated forum out of the three.

REDUser is at least as bad, if not worse. I signed up back in June and have messaged the site administrator multiple times and even a mod that covers DVX and RED. Nothing. Radio silence. You would think that if you're a member on one of the "sister" sites, there would be no problems signing up on one of the others.

Just go to blackmagicdesign.com forum. That place has a ton of knowledgeable people that are quick to help.
