Blurry Titles in FCP QT Movie

I just edited a 3 minute piece as practice for Tape workflow and editing. I used the Title generator in FCP to make lower third and centered titles (1 line) between clips.

When I exported the piece as a QT Movie the titles are very blurry and jagged edged.

Did miss something somewhere?
 
This happens alot with thin or curvy fonts and certain colors. Try a different font/color or use photoshop. You could also try moving the text up or down just a touch. I've noticed this helps sometimes when working with interlaced footage.
 
If you're viewing it in Quicktime Player, go to Preferences, and make sure "Use High Quality Video Setting When Available" is checked.
 
bigbossbmb is right. Check your sequence settings and your compressor type. Use animation for best results with graphical effects.
 
FCP in DV mode is not ideal for titles, but it is certainly usable. I delver that way all the time. My guess is that it is the preferences in QT that James mentioned. The default settings in QT look like crap.
