blurry time lapses when fast forwarded

i have a lot of time lapses from an HVX200. Im having troubles even changing the speed on them. About half the clips will say "Unable to complete command. A conflict occured during a trip operation" and for the ones that do work, they come up blurry. Is this normal?

Also, im having troubles putting transitions in certain spots. It will just show an X, and that i cant drag it to that location. A cross dissolve will only let me drag it to 1 of the 2 clips, making it look like a fade in/out.

Im thinking that my original audio/video settings are causing me trouble. Im editing 1080i30P, and 720P/24PN clips on the same timeline. Is this causing me problems??

Ok, so apparently to fix the blurry clips after i speed them up, all i have to do is render the video...This still doesnt help my cross dissolve problem in between the time lapse clips. They seem to work fine between the 720 video
