Hi All!
This will be my first time to burn a Bluray and sadly enough it's not working correctly in my ps3. Here are my specs.
I have converted all files through compressor with the settings elementary stream mpeg 2 set to bluray and audio file Ac3 set to generic Ac3.
I also made a video for my menu which has the same settings as above.
I prepped encore to make Bluray disc, created a video menu by clicking the blank HD menu. Set the looped points and created buttons etc. The weird thing is that when I preview it the video doesn't play, it's like a still image, but I hear the music playing, the buttons work but video has changed to a still. I played the file in the timeline and it all played perfectly without a glitch. So, thinking that it might be just my computer I still burned with the film on the timeline and everything was set.
I played the file in a week old ps2 slim and it skipped and just froze as if the ps3 couldn't read the disc. I played a Bluray movie and it worked fine so it wasn't the ps3 or the laser.
I have a VERBATIM BD-R and a Mercury Pro Bluray disc burner. I've been looking in the net if its compatible with most BLuray player but I can't find the page. I contacted Verbatim and waiting for their reply regarding compatibility issues.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Ian
