BluLine fresnels???

Are these lights for real? I can't imagine they're selling for that price. They look TOO good to be true! Do they only make one housing size? Is the Arri 650W clone housing for used to house either a 1K or 650W globe? Do they also make an Arri 300W housing clone or do you put a 300W lamp in the 650W housing witha different base?

I too am excited about getting my hands on this, because if it's as good as the photos show, and it's as close to a "Real" Arri,as I believe, then I would invest in more.. [SIZE=+0]Without even first hand knowledge of them, I believe they are FAR superior to any Britek product.. I wouldn't have ordered it otherwise. Not that I would even consider one of Britek's products in the first place. A friend of mine owns a set of those.. Crap, Crap, Crap, and the stands are worse..[/SIZE]
 
filmat11 seems to have been the only one who has actually purchased these so far, we are waiting for him to get some free time from making millions to give us his opinion and possibly post a few pics...
 
I've been keeping an eye on this thread waiting for filmat11, and also on these bluline fresnels. Something seems a little weird all of the sudden. The bluline fresnels have disappeared from their ebay store and their website. I bookmarked the page before they vanished, but it won't let me put them in my cart. Maybe Arri is suing them. Sucks. They looked nice. If anyone can shed some light on this that'd be great.
 
Holy crap! I'm glad I didn't try buying them yet. I guess waiting for filmat11 was a good thing. Sucks for him though. I just looked on ebay for them too. They're gone!
 
Who ever bought them, or attempted, if you gave me whatever info you have, I might be able to swing down to there "office" and bug them since its pretty local to me, or see if they are real and not a barber shop or something

Looks like another TGTBT.

If it was legit you could see where Arri might have something to say about it, but the focusing knob caught my eye as an improvement.

Instead of BluLine they should have just named 'em Ch'arri (pronounced ch'erry).
