Hello all! I was wondering if anyone knew a method for me to replicate the blue-ish tint that the movie underworld has.

Working Specs:

dvx100A @ 24p adavanced
Using FCP HD

Any info would be great!!

Use the colour corrector in Final Cut.

Bring up the blacks some. Move the hightlights and Mid-Tones towards the blue.

De-saturate the colours a bit. play with it and you'll get it.

Yeah -- I think I'd use CC too, but remember... use your 3-way to color correct in normal color THEN drop the CC tool on top of that one. That way you can be sure to use the same blue values.

Might also want to try the photo shop trick ... create a blue matte of your choice and then change the composite mode to something... overlay? Burn? Give it a shot.
