Blu ray from FCP

Ok so I have a movie I have shot on the 7d, then recompressed to pro res 422 which is my final format I am editing in.

Now I am ready to burn it back to blu ray and am a little confused here. I have read a couple of other threads and some information on the internet and it seems like everyone has a different opinion.

Now these are the programs I have, final cut pro, DVD studio pro and compressor....

My question is, does anyone have any full proof ways to burn the best possible blu rays? If so can you run me down your workflow, going from final cut pro, to the end product in a blu ray player.

Include what you compress to, what programs you use to author and what blu ray burner you are using. Also I need a blu ray player that is external. I am using an iMac, so I guess something that is mac compatible.

Thank You So Much,
Any help is appreciated.

There is a quick, easy method in FCP 7.x. Just go to the file menu and choose share. There you will have the option of choosing how you want to output your project, DVD, BluRay, YouTube etc. Choose make BluRay. If you do not have a BluRay burner select HDD. Otherwise select your BluRay burner. Choose the menu style you wish. Chapter markers set in FCP will be recognized in your project. Select that option if you wish then submit. Go get a coffee and relax. That's all there is to it.

There is a way to edit the templates. Here it is.... Good luck.
